P4P camera

As I said I'm not trying to be nasty...
In my opinion the P4P is for pilots that have some experience in photography.
This is why DJI gave us the option to adjust ISO/APERTURE and SHUTTER SPEED.
In other words you can't buy the Canon 5D Mark IV and shoot in auto mode.

Perhaps you might post some comparison shots (yours) taken with a 5D demonstrating the superior outcome achieved with manual over auto shooting. Like the 5D the P4P will produce more than acceptable results in auto.

Is that in CT? I grew up in CT and remember going to Mohican State Park and Zoo. That was in the 60's and 70's way before the casinos....
Nice video...

You ARE being nasty, and inaccurate. You can certainly shoot auto mode with a 5D Mark IV. Otherwise why would it have the "Scene Intelligent Auto" setting? This thread was a request for helpful information, which you have certainly not provided.

If you find me nasty because I'm trying to give my constructive opinion to some people that spend so much money for something they don't actually need, then it's your problem.
Of course you can shoot in auto mode with a Canon 5D Mark IV but what's the point to spend thousands when you can do it with a point and shoot camera?

Same with the drones, if someone don't know how to use the extra functions that the P4P provides, they can go for a P3P and save some money for extra batteries

Can the two of you take this tit for tat BS to a private conversation? This is a forum meant to help fellow P4P users and not a area for idiots trying to up one another!!!

Stepping off soap box..... :)

I'm a professional photographer for the past 20+ years.
I'm not going to post photos from my portfolio to try to prove the obvious.
I'm shooting only manual so I'm not sure if auto mode is better that manual sorry...

Allow me to state the obvious. In experienced hands many of your (or anyones) creative decisions might be implemented through full manual control being available. This does not mean full auto mode (on any imaging platform) might not prove more than adequate for the majority of users. Providing full manual control simply means the P4P suits the needs and preferences of a wider user base.

Just consider, the phantom has 'auto' with GPS and a host other sensors, not to mention programmable flight modes and most of us use them more than the manual ATTI mode.

Thanks for all the help guys, here is my first video
Very nice, congrats, gutsey flying over water on first trip. It does look a little overexposed that is why you can see the glittering in trees, lower the ISO will fix this, enjoy your drone,

What about the xtra resolution of the P4P that alone is worth the price of admission..
