already ordered the Cables, will get Antenna's from Amazon.. the ant. you used are 7dBi
how did you come to that spec? what is the spec on the Stock DJI remote Antenna's..?

been able to push it a lil further but i had a pretty stiff cross wind both directions so I played
it safe...

I didn't come up with 7dbi, that's what the seller has listed. I also tried a antenna that was listed at 16dbi and the 7dbi out performed them.

I do t know the true dbi, but these grey antennas perform the best for me

I don't know about you guys, but there's something comforting to me with the omnidirectional aspect of this setup. I have hesitated in doing a mod mostly because the unidirectional nature of all the other mods scared the bejesus out of me. This one I'll do.

...Wilson, and any1 else considering this mod, the 7dBi 'Grey' antenna is NOT APPLICABLE for this setup (see image below), will it work, yes, but not well,
I will post details and data including (Long & Short) Field Tests using this antenna and using another much better choice on my web-site, this just FYI...
