So sent my P3 standard in..bought as refurb for 400.00..Came in the box with a broken Gimbal and broken remote antenna...Was delivered to DJI repair today. They are telling me 3 weeks to repair a Gimbal ribbon and a piece of plastic on the remote? I gotta say not too happy with DJI and I might have to start looking into Yuneec drones or xstar...it's bad enough I paid what I did for the drone now I have to wait a month before I see it again..and that's if they are on time with the repairs...some real BS

Really they should just send me a new **** drone so I don't have to wait a month...if that happens I'd stay with DJi and look into the Inspire series next but I doubt it..luck I have had so far dealing with DJi hasn't been good.

If you bought this from DJI, I would say yes, they should be taking good care of you, and send you a replacement immediately.

It was purchased from a DJi retailer with warranty factory refurb..just was bought off eBay not dji site..but still..DJi authorized seller since came with warranty

Will never purchase another DJi product after this..just got a "quote" back in email stating I owed 166 dollars if I wanted my drone repaired..called customer service and they said they would do an dispute...I said nope send me my **** back..I called before I sent my drone in and asked specifically if it was covered under warranty and they said yes..then sent me shipping label..no they don't want to hold up their end...again..sell me a **** product then try and charge me more after I just bought it..done.. definitely looking into other drone companies....gonna sell the P3 and look into Yuneec.

That sucks...From what I've read, Yuneec has some issues of their own. If you can't fix the drone yourself (would be cheaper than sending it in) then you need the best customer service and the winner seems to be Autel with the X-Star and X-Star Premium.

I just bought a XSP and I absolutely love it. Be prepared, it costs about twice what you paid. Doesn't fly like the DJI but it's built MUCH more soundly.

FYI Autel is getting out of the consumer drone market, just like 3dr and the solo. Dji has pretty much eliminated the competition. And I've heard Autel has its issues too. There isn't nearly as many Autel out there so of course your gonna here more about Dji stuff...

Please link to your documented proof that Autel is "getting out of the consumer drone market"...

Well, Autel isn't huge like DJI so I for one don't compare the two. Two different drones that are built differently & flies differently. One has outstanding USA support, one has questionable (at best) support using people whose English is a second (or third) language. One has interchangeable camera, one has a fixed camera. One you can see in the sky when flying, one blends right into the sky.

Yes, some people were laid off, in sales. No engineers were laid off that I am aware of. The company, in my opinion, just is taking it's time to build market share. They showed new things at CES in a quite large space. Companies going out of business don't do that. Autel has been and will be, around for a looong time.
