Don't know if someone could put the screw on the right in a box instead of that wee one they sent and call it the P3S holder?

The first post in the above link shows how to open the remote controller and attach the top part of the mount. You don't just want to screw it on in the middle of your remote controller. It will not be stable enough to hold a tablet.

As for your screw, it does not appear to sit flush against the lanyard mount. Does your screw sit flush if you insert it into the left side of the lanyard mount? I realize that won't work due to the way the remote controller mount is designed, but if the screw sits flush that way, you might be able to rotate the lanyard mount 180 degrees.

mohan, that's a nice option. It only holds up to the size of an iPad Mini though (7.9").

I use the £25 Inspire holder on my F550 then I can use the Groundstation so you could fit it to the P3S TX rather than the Mobile holder it comes with

That's the whole point of installing the I1 tablet mount though. It's much sturdier than the P3 tablet mount. You won't need to attach anything else to make it stable.

Glad to hear that, since it will take the same shipping time I ordered both (also I was trigger happy). The wooble pisses me off a bit, so I went all in. It should arrive soon so I can test.

I don't think you understand. The I 1 will Not fit the P3S. I tried.

Well done Simon. Where did you get a screw long enough to hold your device holder firmly enough to house your 500$ tablet?

Correct. That's what I've been telling you all day :)

The I1 tablet mount will only fit if you mod your controller.

Negative sir. Unless you find the screw long enough or Dremel the Rc lanyard eyelet. Please reference my photo. They machined the eyelet screw to be wonky so your screw won't be straight. My iPad cost way to much to continue as shown. Any links to where to purchase the item you are referring to? Is the P2 holder the only way?

Simon do you happen to know where to get the longer screw to fit the holder? In order to torque it at least a B hair.

I was able to use the aluminum holder mount from a P2V and the Inspire 1 phone/tablet holder minus its aluminum holder and it became a totally secure mount for my iPad Mini 2. I just had to remove the ball from the P2V mount and drill a hole through it, so the screw from the I1 would fit through it.

The mount is held onto the metal handle on the top/back of the TX. Other than the P2V aluminum mount having the ball cut, everything is reversible.
