Back from arm repair. Thanks, @hunch .
However, I cannot get any stills or video on any setting(s) without the 'snow' as seen below. Anyone with ideas on why this might be happening?

I was getting the same thing, just not as bad, yesterday. Have no idea why. maybe a bug with the update? If anyone knows please let us know!
