P3 Firmware P3 standard 1.8.10

I currently have 1.7.90 had to send it back now it works not as good as previous version ,1.8.10 is now out should I update. Haven't heard much about this version? Any suggestions would be great.

All seem to be a couple of weeks old, just trying to see more recent updates, when I upgraded to 1.7.9 had to send it to DJI burned some PC board up, this is all new to me just don't want any more problems

I have updated to 1.8.1 and had no issues but then again I had no issues with 1.7.9 either
