I just purchased my P3 and I am looking for LED and headlight ideas.

I prefer plug and play, a toggle switch, and would also like to use the on board battery as well.

3 - 2- 1 What kinda of ideas do we have!

Thanks much!!

Well come on in, to the forum.
It's always nice to welcome new forum members into the fold.

I have no suggestions for external lighting. But there are several companies that carry them suitable for RC models.

I hope that you enjoy your time on the forum, and many successful flights with your Phantom...

Has anyone fit a led headlight yet? I read earlier posts saying that the higher voltage of the p3 makes the standard leds super hot.....any work arounds yet?

Phantom 3 LiPo is 15.2v, you need a buck converter to reduce voltage down to within the LED's specifications. The multi-die LEDS will have a voltage range (e.g., 4.5v-9.0v) Increase voltage and you get brighter light (more lumens) but at the expense of increased current draw.
