Greetings all,

I recently had a small "crash" - flew slow speed into a bush and drone landed props down...

Now, video is jittery when I play back a 4K video. As the famous saying goes, everything worked before...

I just looked at some video I shot in November, and it's fine, but not 4K (I didn't get my 4K system until January)
Unfortunately, I do not have recent 4K video to compare to...I trash my video as it's basically just flying practice and nothing substantial...

I've done numerous IMU calibrations, painstakingly making sure the drone was level all the way around.
Everything is up to date : DJI Go, RC, drone and camera have latest firmware.

I thought the jitters were happening when I was moving forward and stopping abruptly, but it's not consistent enough.

I'm attaching an example...

Help! ;)

p.s. I hope I attached the media correctly...ugh

my old eyes couldnt see any jitter in the video. have you done a gimbal calibration ?

I also don't see jitter I see fuzzy images while the AC is moving But that can be fixed with a filter

I saw it right at the beginning. Is the gimbal free moving? Is there any additional load on the gimbal? Do you have filters installed? Are all the rubber dampeners correctly in their sockets?

Also are your props in good condition and balanced?

1) Yes
2) No
3) No
4) Yes

Excuse my ignorance and lack of Googling...what's the difference between an IMU calibration and a Gimbal calibration?

Gimbal being the actual 2-axis mount where the IMU are sensors?

Inquiring minds need to know! (Does ANYONE remember that commercial from the NY area??? :P )

Thanks....!

The first 7 seconds of this video are jittery as is the last 2-3 seconds.

Thanks to all for your consideration...

Interesting...yet another toy to buy! ;)

I did a quick, *but inaccurate*, visual check when hovering, and when on the ground.
Nothing obvious...
lol this is an expensive hobby the Dubro is the best IMO definitely want to balance props. I had Jello effect on my P3S and so did my nephew the gimbal has 2 pins that secure it in spite of recommendations to only use 2 I added 2 more for a total of 4 and No more Jello effect if you have two extra drop pins its worth a try it helped both mine and my nephews fantastically

I'm pretty sure I have 2 extra pins...I have a Phantom 2 waiting for me to resurrect the camera ribbon ;)

It seems to happen during acceleration and braking not while hovering, it could be a balance issue, do you have any spare props laying around until you can get a balancer?

yeah Loose motor screws? maybe I haven't seen an issue with that but anything is possible

I replaced 3 out of the 4. My new blades arrived today, so I can swap out all 4 tomorrow.

I was going to say the exact same thing as you regarding accelerating and braking, but I'm pretty sure I noticed it in other places. I will interrogate further... But, if it is isolated to accelerating and braking, do you have more definitive thoughts where the issue may lie?

So, narrowing down the cause...when I went rotors down, I knocked something out of balance...?

I inspected a bit more closely just now and I do see some hairline cracks in the shell where the motors sit...grrr...

Does anyone know of the P3 shell DJI sells on their site will fit the P3 4K?

Thanks again to all for the great help!
