hello all,
I have several spare p2v+ gimbals I was going through, all work great, but 2 of the 6, have the 45 degrees down tilt after startup!
4 of them level out and have full control, and will stay at whatever angle you want,

The other 2 always return to 45, unless you hold dial wheel where you want it!

My question
( after no luck searching )

Has there been a fix for this?

I tried updating and reverting firmware, with no luck!

Thanks I advance!

Ok
Got them all fixed!

Solution:
Hook bird to Pc assistant ( 3.6 )
Open assistant,
Sign in
Turn on remote and extender
Then turn on bird
Go to upgrade tab
Look for ( ZEN IMU )
This must be upgraded to 1.0.0.6, in order to work properly with dial wheel remote ( Tx )
If it is 1.0.0.4, and shows NO UPDATES,
Refresh it, and 1.0.0.6 will be avail
Upgrade ZEN IMU ( 1.0.0.6 )
power cycle
( now your camera will boot up and be level with horizon, and will stay at whatever position you want without holding dial wheel in position! NICE! )

Enjoy!

FINALLY! Whew.......:)
Onto next issue!

Here is the video I did on fixing this issue

Enjoy:

Hope this helps anyone else having these issues, with the Phantom 2 vision plus machines, using upgraded ( dial wheel Tx ), causing camera to boot up at a 45 degree pitch downward, and no SET control with dial wheel ( when you let dial wheel go, camera returns to 45 degree down, instead of staying where you had it set! )

Is your Zem IMU updated to 1.0.0.6? USING Pc assistant 3.6?

If so
Calibrate your Tx in RC ASSISTANT ( not Pc assistant )
Both sticks, both toggles, and dial wheel!
Then hook bird to PC ASSISTANT
Calibrate Tx again here ( both sticks , toggle and dial wheel ) this will calibrate Tx to bird
Then power cycle and try again!

Note
If your ZEN IMU shows 1.0.0.4 and no upgrade avail, REFRESH the page ( make sure you are signed in and have internet access ) once the page is refreshed, should make update avail to you!

Let me know?

I'm still using assistant 1.2 but I was upgraded to 1.0.0.4

You'll need assistant 3.6 ( Droneslinger.com ) has the download
Then hook and upgrade to 1.0.0.6 ( Zen IMU ) only

Power cycle and it will be fixed!

Do you still have any of those gimbals? I have a P2V+ but the gimbal is toast.
