P2V+ followed by Mavic Air Active track

I've got a P2V+ and I'm wondering if I go slow enough with it my Mavic air could follow?

Did you find that the Mavic air active track could only follow if the phantom seemed to be on the ground? That is if you take the phantom above the horizon does the Mavic air still track it?

The Mavic Pro followed quite well both at ground level and in the sky
