Is it possible to take a phantom 2 vision range extender and bind it to the phantom 3 standard... guessing no but doesn't hurt to ask
P2 range extender. Can it work on p3s?

If your talking a RE500 or RE700 I'm not sure it would .Have had Several Vision's and did lot's of mod's with them and a Standard as well and just not sure how you would rig that .
Not really sure if you could if it would give you any more distance if that's what you're looking for .

The P2V(+) range extenders are not really range extenders - they were poorly named by DJI IMO. They are actually 2.4 ghz transmitter/antenna modules. The P3S has the same thing, but it's already built into the P3S controller and is therefore invisible to the casual eye. They were named "range extenders" by DJI because they extended the range of the mobile device's ability to transmit data.
The transmitters/antennas in the P3S has significantly better range than the transmitters/antennas used by the P2 series controllers. Hope this helps.
