I only have 7 hours of flight but half of it has been on a boat last week in Bodrum. The above link takes you to the video.
I have been reading the forums for weeks and I was not very confident about flying from a boat after reading horror stories.
Anyway I took the risk and during 7 days of boat trip I flew everyday at least twice with no problems.
What is surprising is that the compass calibration was done in Tuscany Italy (more than 2000 KM away from Bodrum!) the app did not want a recalibration so I flew and I did not have any problems (for the whole week)
VPS was off. Firmware was the previous one. I used Ipad Air.
So: There is nothing to be afraid I guess. I hope you like the video.
