Noon needing help.

So im new, a friend got me interested and so I found a used p2+ came with 1 battery. Bought it tested it. 2nd flight battery seemed under charged. 7min in the air battery alarm goes off. Took home did full charge. 3rd flight, 10 min in the air battery alarm. Now I understand wind and whatnot but both days beautiful no wind amd now it won't charge. Any thoughts? Anybody got used I could buy? How difficult is it to replace the gimbal ribbon? The ribbon is damaged in a spot and software thinks the lock it on. I'm pretty goos with my hands but everything is so small I'm afraid I may mess it up. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

I think the battery is bad, it will not hold a charge. It also may help to clean the battery contacts in the phantom use rubbing alcohol if thats all you have. There is a video on you tube for the ribbon i think .....good luck.

Some times you can get the battery to start charging by turning it on. Plug in the charger, you should see a green light. Push the power button once, then one more time and hold it in. The Charger light should turn red and start charging the battery. If you have the software (DJI Phantom 2 Vision Assistant_3.8) installed, plug in the Phantom and check the stats on the battery tap. If the cells are way off the battery is going bad. A good battery the cells will be close to the same reading. Good luck!
