noise/grain in my video?

can anyone help me. i think this video has noise/ grain....or am i expecting too much.

It does look noisy. What ISO is it shot at?

Also, is that right out of the camera, or after rendering?

Have you got shooting mode set to hard? Hard is way too noisy and hard and soft is way too blurry. Always set it to Std (standard)

it was set to auto.
any tips? on what it should be for daytime? sunset?

Auto would be your iso but your shooting mode can be set to soft, std or hard

for my next daytime shoot i'm going to go with
100 iso
and std for my shooting mode.....i'll be back in a few with the results

Whenever possible shoot at the lowest ISO possible. Only when it is darker should you raise the ISO.

I recommend soft, then sharpening in your video editing software.

The soft setting does produce a soft image, but one that can be improved dramatically by a program like Premiere Pro.
