How to tell a standard Phantom 4 from a Phantom 4 Pro? I am going to buy a used Phantom 4 Pro Obsidian and don’t the outward difference between the two.

Welcome to forum,,,p4 just has front sensors for obstacle avoidance,, p4p has front ,sides and rear so you should clearly see them

I’ve got to laugh at myself. I now know only the P4P is the only one in the Phantom lineup available in obsidian.
Ha unless you got can of black paint,this is a p3s which is my obsidian, cheap version

There was a P4 Black special edition that unscrupulous sellers have listed as Obsidian. Just be sure your pro has the side and rear sensors. Good luck, have fun
There are new paints available that work great on plastics like drones. Stick to almost all except poly (like milk cartons). Sticks to plastic furniture without sanding or primer. Satin finish is best. I have beautiful Phantom Rain wetsuits so no paint for me. ?
