New P3 Standard Owner from Washington State

Greetings, my wife Patty and I are from Birch Bay, WA, and currently doing the snowbird thing in Arizona. We just bought a P3 Standard, have flown it once, and if the wind dies down a bit, we plan to fly it as often as we can here to get used to it. We are planning on cruising the Great Loop starting in Ft. Myers, FL, around April 1 and bought the drone to get some great pix. This is a 6,000 mile cruise that will take us about eight months. I have started a blog here. The fifth installment, Odds and Ends, has a video of my first flight at the RC Airfield at our RV resort. My goal was to retrieve to my hand, and I succeeded!

Lots to learn, and I will be looking at a lot of threads here for sure!
