My best places to fly is really anywhere at 800 to 1000 feet up. everything looks so cool
My best open field is right off exit 33 on the AC expressway. make a left and go straight till you can't go anymore and you'll see a good 2 mile stretch of grass and dirt. no power lines, no wifi. i got 5384 feet stock, and 5717 with an 8dbi antenna (but i didn't push it).

I fly at or below 400'. I find detail and perspective in video more interesting for the audience rather than views out an airplane window (or views of an airplane window coming at you!)

Where do I fly? Over lakes, the ocean, the boardwalks, the lighthouses, amusement parks, the beaches, surfers, ball fields, dams, cranberry bogs, along lagoons, ocean inlets & boats, NJ Vietnam veterans memorial, etc.

Chase a car you are a passenger in, rising or descending shots at slow speed, fly along a road and go right off a cliff with the camera, fly around a point (like a fountain, statue, or monument, maneuver through the forest, etc.

i appreciate the concern
but I'm so far away from that airport you cant even see them skydiving from where i fly at. a few miles up the road you can see them but not from Maullers field (my take off point). I thought about attempting to film someone floating down down to earth but it's too risky and i cant descend fast enough with the new firmware.

Isn't that near the Tuckahoe sod farms? There is a RC club that flies back there not far from the soccer fields. I live in Hammonton right up the road if anyone is interested in meeting up drop me a PM!!

Hey Scott.

I'm not too far away from you. Check out google maps for any rivers or large bodies of water. I just shot a video about 2 months ago over the Raritan river in Washington Township (Long Valley) and I don't think it came out too bad. Anything can be interesting if you edit it properly. I also created a video (this week) of the Chester Fireman's Carnival where I flew the drone during the fireworks show. I was asked not too fly into the fireworks but really wanted to as I think that would make for a killer video. . . Check out my channel if you're interested. Cheers
