Can you close the lid with the foam under the lid? I can't close mine. But I love it; best bang for this quality case. Btw, get a decal for it; looks nicer.

that case is designed for the advanced or pro since they have slightly shorter legs. having said that, it did protect my standard pretty well while traveling out of the country. it's tight but it didn't introduce any stress cracks to the shell or anything.
I have the same case and love it. Super durable and the price is right from MCM. It was a bit of a job cutting the foam but if you take your time it's not too bad. I also shaved out the top with a dremel to give it a little more space, as I felt I had to crank it down a bit without trimming the top a bit.
I also sprayed a few coats of Plasti-Dip to rubberize the foam so it would stay in tact. So far so good!
Used this with my P2 and now my P3P. Had to mod it a little but still great
