Need help with upgrading...PLZ

Ok I just started the update process I did the controller upgrade first no problems. I rebooted everything and tried to do the copter here's the problem. When I am prompted to connect the cable to the P4 I get nothing it doesn't show the next screen for the download it just stays on the page.

I even tried to connect it to my PC with the DJI Assistant same thing it does not recognize the P4.

Thinking that I may have a bad cable I have tried 2 different cables still the same thing

I'm total frustrated and have no clue what to try

I believe you need to update the drone first and then the controller. Follow @msinger's tips on how to get that sorted:
