Near Fort Lauderdale - where to fly

I am traveling with a layover in Fort Lauderdale. Trying to find places to fly. Any suggestions.

There is an area north of Sunrise Blvd where you are outside the 5 mile control area of Fort Lauderdale International Airport and Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport, you could probably get some great shots there, here is a map off B4UFLY
