My Phantom 3 is back from repair.

I sent my P3A for repair under warranty due to cracks in the motor base. It came back today. Exactly 2 weeks after I sent it. So that's good.

They replaced the bottom part of the shell only. I can't tell if it's the new shell design. Will have to pull a motor out to see.

The only thing I can complain about so far is that they didn't replace the silver advanced stickers. So there is half a sticker on the top part and nothing on the bottom. It's a small thing but come on DJI. It's not so hard to do.

It's charging now so let's see how it flys in a bit.
 
Upon inspection I can sadly report that the replacement part is not the newer design and looks exactly like the old part. It does not have the extra bracing points.

I expect it to last about 2 months like the first shell.

Same thing on mine but they sent it back in worse shape than when I sent it to them. It's back there now and no one can find it. WTF!
