anyone have any expertise on .mov vs mp4, usually my mac loves .mov with adobe premiere pro cs6, but when i import my dji files that are 1080 60fps, .mov, it bogs my premier right down until i render the files, i can import 1080 30fps 720 60fps or 1080 60fps from my go pros or cannon dslr and have no issues what so ever,

running a i5 macbook pro with 16gb of ram and intel hd 4000 1536 mb graphics
ntel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB

Mov vs MP4 is only the container, the content is the same. If your editing machine is on OSX stick with MOV, it will make life easier.

Your issues with sluggish performance in premiere may be your scratch disk settings and/or HD available space and speed.

Swapping in an SD drive will make a monumental difference.

premiere is the best software on the market, and isn't vegas a pc only product i don't get why all other files work no problem from my go pro or cannon, I'm thinking its the encoder or codec dji uses
