What are you hoping to achieve? By the look of the first image you posted with 5 wires it would seem likely they are connected in parallel with the balance tap leads.

I think I figured out what it's for

Looks like it's to directly hook up a line to the battery while its in the drone to keep the battery charging all the time while in flight but seems like it would only last a while longer since the battery would deplete faster than it would charge, good idea though.
