That was not a bird attacking , he was just playing, my rule of thumb is if the bird is coming in at an angle as that one was its no treat, its when they come in at you in line formation straight on that you that you got problems. Good to be safe.

This time of year (Spring) it is pretty common for birds to become territorial (nesting/breeding etc), you are lucky it was not a larger bird of prey!
