Ever since I flew my first drone I have wanted to get some good footage of the ore dock. First I kayaked around it and got some photos with my Nikon D3400. Then I drove around to the front and flew all around it. I know that it looks like I got too close in one shot, but it was 50 feet away in direct eyesight and I had already gathered altimeter data so I knew how high I had to be. I finally got the footage that I had always wanted. In the old days there used to be a huge train trestle that went to the end of it. In the future there are plans for outdoor shops and apartments above. It would be really nice if that happened. Right now it is only used for special 4th of July fireworks effects.
