Marco Polo dog tag

Just ordered a Marco Polo, dog tag model. Wanted something a little waterproof.
Are there many using that one? Weighs 1 3/4 oz. How will that effect my P3P?

I use the Marco Polo RC tag. Where I fly there is no phone coverage to be able to use any other type.

That's why I chose MP. It requires no other coverage.
Just wondered how the "dog" tag works out.
