Lo-jack for phantoms

The idea is, say you have your phantom stolen, ive read some stories of that happening, would it be possible or a good idea to have say you can report it stolen on the DJI website (or somewhere) they activate a protocol that allows you to track the phantom viva GPS next time its powered on, or next time its plugged into a computer it sends a message to the website with location. yada yada.
Cell phones have a similar set up and they have this on some cars and laptops
 
How many are reported stolen and in what time frame?

I was unaware this was such a problem.
 
im not saying its like one of those infomercials, did you know ever 3 weeks someone has a phantom stolen. i read a post on here about one, as well as some others on other forums.
 
I think my quad crashed in your yard does not constitute stolen.

You can buy a tracker. They have their limitations.
