I think this is only the Leash portion. You need two iOS devices, one with the Leash app and a second iOS device running the Litchi app.

Incorrect, this is only the leash app for iOS, and you will need Android for full version of Litchi

I will give him a pass, as if he is not aware of litchi and not an android user, if you look at the apple app stores description it says nothing about the app being dependent on Litchi's that is only currently on Android
