Litchi app

I just downloaded the Litchi app for my phantom 3 standard. after looking at these forums, Do I need to do my wave-points for home or somewhere with internet connection, or will the google map work like the DJI app.

Ok so if I decide to download the litchi app and love it and only use it I will need to periodically still open up the Dji go app and check for updates? Sounds good thanks. Do you have/use the litchi app?

or just dont update ever again like me, seems like every time someone updates range or another problem arises! My bird works fine now so if it aint broke dont fix it!
