Litchi app from phone to tablet

Is there a way to transfer litchi app from my phone to my tablet without out purchasing it again? I used side sync, but when I open litchi on my tablet it says it's not licensed. Thanks

As long as both are Apple devices or Android devices and you're using the same login in your mobile devices, you can install it for free from the app store on your tablet.

So I assume if I have it on my iPad and changing to android, that I would need to purchase Litchi app again?
