I've heard of people crashing their phantoms and breaking parts.. I heard of Line-X spray years ago. Do you think this would help mitigate damage on crash or no?

That stuffs a bit heavy don't ya think.
Don't see how it can mitigate damage.
More mass = more inertia = more damage (likely)
Also lower flight times.
