My latest video after my crash on the last outing (thank goodness for insurance). Went to Hobart (Tasmania, Australia) for the weekend.
Great video. I've not been to Tasmania yet.
Those rock formations on the mountain were weird.
What was the story of your crash and insurance?
I was flying around the Great Ocean Road area at the Loch Ard Gorge, climbed a little to avoid some trees and clipped an overhang along the limestone walls. Gimbal camera broke off at the ribbon cable, everything else was fine. I was insured with RACV under my Contents Policy. They gave me the money for a replacement the next day. Very easy to deal with, no questions asked really.

Nice job. I like the way you matched speed with The Colonel. I found myself looking to see if the video froze a time or two because you had the speed matched so well. My thought, take it for what it is worth. You have sunshine, water and a paddle wheeler. It almost screams for a music score that is more lively. I watched your video and could almost hear the Beach Boys "Kokomo" song playing.

Did the camera break off from inertia of the crash or from striking something directly on the camera? There is some debate over which causes the most damage. Could you tell?

Short clip of the neighbouring village of Rostrevor, Co Down, Ireland
Nice work as usual. I like the sped up shots for something different.

I'll have to ask NRMA if they cover mine under contents insurance in a crash.

First Video shot today

Give me some feedback

It broke off from inertia I would say. No sign of cosmetic damage from an impact.
