Let's see some videos!

Probably should have taken a closer look at the weather before blasting off to high altitudes. Sick feeling knowing your quad is up in a storm cloud - no telling what the winds and drafts are capable for doing to the little beast. I got lucky. Pilot error.

I have had the P2V+ 2 weeks and still learning, but here are a few of my first flights........

I have also had great success using http://satpredictor.navcomtech.com/ as the guide for when to fly for best sat opportunities......it has been "dead on accurate" and allowed gps flight that was not possible at other times of the day.

I live in a hilly and wooded area........not yet comfortable enough to fly ATTI mode.....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Htoboe ... 3KR4EWre6w before anyone questions the "Rocky Theme" choice ....the name of the song is....."Gonna Fly Now"!!! ;-)

Dirtybird - I noticed you made the following edit:

"To reset Heading Lock, turn to desired heading and flip S2 from Pos 1-2 FIVE times. Rapid green flash indicates success.
To reset Home Point, hover @ desired position/altitude and flip S1 from Pos 2-3 FIVE times. Rapid green flash indicates success."

You changed the top 'heading lock' switch from S1 to S2... Did you forget to change the second S1 to S2 also? Should it not read:

To reset Home Point, hover @ desired position/altitude and flip S2 from Pos 2-3 FIVE times. Rapid green flash indicates success.

How to mount this on Vision+... ;)

That requires the Tactical Phantom® ... with picatinny rails.

Loved checking out so many of the vids people have put up. Here is one of mine - looking for an osprey nest on a nearby river.

Awesome visual of the storm clouds and rain.

Watching your video brought something to mind. I was wondering if anyone else noticed this effect too. At certain times during video if you look at the horizon you get the impression that the sky and ground are two separate scenes...almost like the sky is superimposed over the ground. Has anyone else noticed that? I've seen it in my videos too.

Best vid I've seen so far. Great editing. You've got much more b@lls than I do filming in places like these. I especially like the shot over the lighthouse.

I had a seagull repeatedly swoop down and around my P2V+ the other day. I was hoping it wouldn't hit my props.

Here's the vid -

Video editing is not so good but Naples is wonderfull!! :)

Nice views of Napoli, I could see the Vesuvio in the background... You should go to Ravello and film from Villa Cimbrone's gardens, there are wonderful views with big, sharp drops down to the sea. Anyways, try putting a Pino Daniele tune on the soundtrack, that might be cool also.... Be well and thanks!
