After last night's rain we took a trip through a flood ravaged area to visit Laughing Whitefish Falls. We saw some of the damage caused by the flooded Chocolay River. US-41 was closed and M-94 was washed out badly enough that one section of road was gone to the point that all that was left was hanging sections of guardrail over a trench. The trail to the falls had sections that were washed out but it was easily passable. the Falls were utterly amazing and surpassed all expectations.
