In my version of vegas, the default was 24 fps, so need to verify you are outputting at 30 fps as that is the format coming out of the Phantom. That can have a huge impact on quality. In terms of rendering, I used the Internet HD 1080p option and selected all the defaults for that. Once it's uploaded to vimeo, you need to select 1080p otherwise their default is 720.
