Was this shot in 4K24 -- I ask because I'm seeing a bit of stuttering with each frame. Beautiful video nonetheless.

hi Raptorman yeh it was 24 frames i thought it was the gopro editor
that was causing the stutter

OK, that's what I figured -- in my experience and I maybe more susceptible to stutter than others, but going to 30fps makes a big difference in visual stuttering. Also, I believe that the nature of aerial video from a drone makes the use of lower "cinematic" frame rates less desirable. When I first started with drones about 21 months ago with the Inspire 1 Pro I shot at 4K24 because, hey, that's what the pro's use for that "cinematic" look, but I quickly discovered that the perspective and use profile of drone video exaggerated the stuttering thing and going to 30fps made a huge difference.

Again, I suspect that I am particularly susceptible to the stuttering and others maybe less so but if I could I'd go even faster than 30fps because even at 30fps I can still see stuttering, particularly when doing panning (yawing) with close by objects. The P4P can shoot 4K60 but that's not desirable for a couple reasons. First, 4K60 has numerous defects that make the video less usable and with the limited bandwidth of 100Mbps even if those defects were not there the video quality would suffer due to the limited bandwidth.

One can only hope that the next Phantom or perhaps the one after that will have more capable image processing CPU's and higher bitrate storage so that 4K50 and 4K60 can actually be used. I think that when that happens 4K50 or 4K60 will be clearly superior.

thanks Raptorman0909 I will change my setting to 30fps if I get out this weekend
to see I did notice it in some videos more than other vids. iv been using 24fps for
three years now I had a few guys telling me to change to 30 but I just left it at 24fps
are you the same Raptorman that was on youtube with the p4p hooked up to
check the camera specs out? and the camera setting were weird in the sky parts?
I watched that video and stayed away from the p4p then firmware knackered it
up. I hate being forced to update that's why I blocked them off my p3p
