I wish someone would make a Phantom simulator that does not require powering up the quad in order to use it. I'm not into the intricacies of writing code, but is it feasible to write a desktop (or Android/iOS) simulator program that would interface with a Phantom remote directly, but without the Phantom? Basically plug your remote into a tablet or PC/Mac and fly a variety of realistic landscapes/cityscapes.
Is that so hard? Does it already exist? I guess it just seems silly to me to have to power up the quad to fly a lame (what, no quad POV?) simulator. I'd gladly pay for it.
