Hi my iPhone is to small and I am looking at a second hand iPad air2 do you think the DJI GO4 app will run ok? Is is it to slow.

Are you basing your assessment purely based on the article you linked?

The Air 2 runs GO4 perfectly (based on actual use).

I use ipad Mini 4. For the most part it runs perfectly. There was one time Where I was flying under the sun in a really hot day. Apparently the heat throttled my processor speed and the DJI Go app had horrible lag. What I did to finish my flight was switch to DJI GS Pro app which was displaying the video feed without issues. Cooled my iPad and it returned to normal.
