Can parts interchange between a P4 and a P3?
Yes they can. At least 2 that I know of!
Motors: P3 2312A motors are electronically the same as P4 2312S motor even the bearings are the same. You can easily put a 2312A armature in a P4 motor the result is a P4 motor that bolts directly on a p3, This works fine but you must have a P3 that has a 2312A ESC IE: -09 motherboard!
Camera lens yep a p4 lens which is better than a p3 lens will fit right into a P3P/P3A camera does require 30 second modification. IE: P4 lens has 4 mounting tabs P3 has 2 just snap off the 2 extra tabs on the P4 lens and it mounts right in the P3 case also you do need to use the black front cover from the P4.
These mods allow you to use p4 props and maybe get slightly better video.
