I sure am glad the 9450 props have give . I always grab the landing gear then power off.

Ahhh, come on redneck1, one little superficial scratch. If you are a real redneck you do crazier things than that? Keep catching. Arms can heal. Drones can’t. You don’t want dirt to get in the motors?

I land when I can, but there are times when it's dusty, sandy, long grass, etc., and I see no alternative. I just bring it in and when it's hovering steadily, I grab with one hand, shut down with the other. Never had a problem. If a friend is available, a two-hand grab is better, but you do what you gotta do.

I use my case as a launch pad and land on that, sometimes, too... but it's easier to do the hand grab.
