I have standard p3.When doing a search mission a tree jumped up and grabbed my drone. It fell 150ft..Well what a tuff bird only broke the gimble motor bracket and ribbon wire.Well I replaced them both.I have the parts all back but the gimble just keeps turning wrong way.I'm sure it's my failure to put it together correctly.I only have one hand so it's verry hard to work on.Well I have two hands but one doesn't work so good.I made sure the flat part is where the set screw goes and still won't work.I put good gimble from other drone on and it worked so it's not the drone just gimble..I watched video's there are plenty and still it is beyond my brain skills..lol...I will try to show on video what it does but I don't want to burn out any gimble motors.I search for free and can't afford to buy another or pay to have fixed.Any idea why it flips around but won't point forward??..It said my 11 seconds video is too large a file..

Be sure all the plugs are fully inserted and seated correctly. They have to be pushed in all the way in until you hear or feel them click.

Have you calibrated the camera? Also is the arm centered on its post?

I have recommended this several times, and it has helped a few. Mine acted badly after replacing my flat black ribbon cable.
The problem was that I inserted the pitch motor shaft into the camera body 180° out of position.
The flat side of the pitch motor shaft must face the rear of the Phantom.
