I have seen worse. The drone may be saved but the camera, that's another story. There maybe some camera parts that could be used.

I disassembled the gimbal into components. Are the gimbal motor flex cables removable/ replaceable? They are moving freely.

That gimbal assembly is so trashed that there really is no point in trying to fix it. You have like $100 in motors that are potentially compromised (I see two that look like they have flex cable damage, meaning they're as good as dead), that yaw arm and cable are another $30, I don't even know if you can get the housing assembly, then there are all the boards in there that may be trashed. You might as well just buy a gimbal assembly, someone has it for $400 on here or $450 OBO on ebay, and slap it on there. By the time you try to fix that thing, you might end up with a dead-end due to lack of parts, or end up spending more than the amount of a new one.

Those landing gears are trashed, which is like $30, and the mounts might also be dead. Make sure they're okay, otherwise you'll need a new shell, which is around $65.

Thanks that sounds like good advise, I was wondering if it was beyond economical repair

The camera is trashed. You probably need a new shell and of course legs. I have repaired drones that look like that but you never know if the electronics are ok. Where are you located? I would be glad to take a peek at it. Also I am the guy with the P4P camera for sale on eBay and on here. Here is cheaper.

I am in Magnolia Ohio
I live in Clermont Florida. my development is called Magnolia Point. I repair these drones and actually have the bottom section of the shell complete with legs. If you want to send the drone to me I would check it out for you to see if it can be repaired. The guy above is about correct on the cost of the parts. A new shell with legs is about $90. I have some old bodies that may be usable that I would give you.. Just pay shipping. You will need a soldering station because you have to un solder and re solder the motor leads. You can not splice them. If you splice them the esc will know and the unit will show esc errors for each motor. I see this a lot. If you cut the motor leads and try this you will end up buying new motors.
Did you get batteries and a remote for it? Batteries are about $125 and the remote is about $225.
