I'm a PC guy for computers, but an Apple guy for phones and my iPad but I tried the Nexus 7 (2013) at $149 for my new P3A. Since my iPad was an original 2 version it won't work with the DJI App so I had to update to the iPad Air 2 for my drone, which arrives Tuesday. (Thanks to everyone for the advice on which tablet to get!!)
How do I transfer all my flight data from the Nexus to the iPad?
Also, on the sim card there are .SRT files. What are those? Are they the flight data also? How do you open them? Can I just transfer those to my iPad? How would I get them into the App so the App would see them?
Thanks for all the great advice.

In the Flight Record on the Nexus click the cloud icon in the top right. This will sync all your flight data with the cloud. Then when you get the Air, just do the same thing and your flight records will download. Don't worry about the transfer of any of the other files. You WILL have to go through all the settings again (max height, resolutions, etc) if you changed any of them, but otherwise you will be good to fly right when you receive the Air.
