With my work schedule it's hard for me to nail down a time. It's usually a wait and see if I can get out of work early. I usually fly afternoon.

You can also use final cut pro and transform 29.97fps to 60fps.

I shoot at 1080/50p. After editing on Pinnacle 19 that gives me the choice of HD 1080 or HD 720 or SIF medium amongst others.

Uploading to U-Tube at 1080 takes twice as long as 720.

29 sounds a bit low to have good quality. Cant you shoot at 720 at least?

That's great... If you guys want to join me in Kelly drive, close to the museum of art in Philly. There is an awesome area to shoot videos in there. I am planning going this coming Sunday at around 8:30AM.

I'm outside the NFZ plenty of room before the zone. Also where I fly the air traffic is around 1500 feet so no issues.

You do not need to turn off VPS over water.. The only side effect you might see is drifting with the water current.. This old rumor with disabling vps over water is pretty much nonsense unless you are trying to hold a thigh position over moving water.
