I just got my Phantom II up and running today. Flying out by HCC Stafford area. Pretty deserted, which is fine by me. Perhaps we should chose a time and place for those of us to meet. Say next Saturday, March 1st? Any takers? Weather dependent, of course.

Guys-the more I thought about this, I came up with the idea that what we need to do is to publicize this among ourselves, and not the entire world. I'm thinking security here...no one except us need to know where we're meeting and what we're doing. So, I suggest the following-if you Houston fliers will contact me privately with whatever email address you want to use (I think just sending a private message will be all you need to do) I'll set up a master mailing list and we can coordinate for ourselves, and save the forum some bandwidth.

We had two Blade 350QX, a Phantom 1.1.1, Phantom 2 and even a WLToys 959 v222 out there. Lots of fun though we had an unfortunate clipping of Radioguy's 350QX with a pine tree branch.

I'm a very young Phantom pilot, I am getting a v1.1.1, it will be arriving on Friday. I am also in the Houston area. As for flying together, I don't think I am at that level yet but it sounds fun. I know this is a lot to ask, but do any of the people in the area who have upgraded from a P1 to a P2 or you just have old gear, would any of you in this situation have any Phantom 1 gear they are willing to give to me or sell cheap? I would be extremely grateful, Personal Message me if so and what you have for what price. Like I said I am a very young pilot.
