Hooked Up Light Mod

Got my light mod in today. Was part of the kit I bought. Not sure I'll keep it on, looks kind of cheesy. I'll wait til I fly it in the dark before deciding. There is a headlight and wraparound lights. Pics aren't too great................

I just got these for my Phantom 1. For the price($8), they cannot be beaten. Incredibly bright. I'm sure you've already tested them by now... definite ufo look

Would be very nice if you could turn them on/off from the pilot app.
Yes it would! They unplug easy enough, but I'll have to decide what the mission is beforehand........... will need them off for pics. They are really bright!

That is some of my christmas lights... (only had about 30% out at that stage).
I have some plans for my quad ;-)
 
Being that there are data ports on the craft. Couldn't one use the sdk or something to program one of the back buttons on remote to turn on and off a USB powered light?
