Homeowner in my Neighborhood claims I am trespassing if I fly under 500 ft above his house - legal?

He's playing amateur lawyer and not very well.
There is no Bundle of Rights law.

Sounds like he's read just enough to think he knows more than he does.

Althoughi can easily imagine a way that one could trespass with am UAS , that doesn't mean every overflight will constitute a trespass.

And actually I suspect that most attorneys wouldn't want to take any but the clearest cut cases.

So very glad I live so rural my nearest neighbor is 1/2 mile away. House right next to us is empty and uninhabitable.

If he owns the airspace above, then he owns China, below. Read through past posts. This has come up before. Just fly around his area, and not over his area,in the meantime. I am sure that your stomach couldn't handle a pic of him sunbathing. I cringe at the thought.
