Hello Guys, I am an amateur drone pilot living in New Zealand. I have a DJI phantom 2 vision+, a DJI phantom 3 standard, a DJI phantom 3 pro, and 3 DJI Ryze Tello drones. I love taking photography of my beautiful country's landmarks and features.

Hello Daniel - It's nice to make your acquaintance! I have a Phantom 4+ and a Mavic 3Pro. I like all the DJI machines. They are very tough, and they work exceedingly well. I live in California, and I have been using the machines for fun, and to take pictures of oil fields - which happens to be the business I work in. Have not had the pleasure of visiting your beautiful country. Not sure if it will happen or not. I am also a light airplane pilot, and I just read a wonderful article about spending a week flying around New Zealand, seeing the country. That did tempt me - at least until I saw the price tag. Wishing you great flying!

Hi, @Heron, nice to meet you too. I think DJI drones are the best drones by far in my opinion for their reliable performance and excellent photography. 😀 I am currently working toward my private pilot's license, which involves a lot of flying over the very beautiful scenery that is in New Zealand. If you do come over here, you sure won't regret it!😁

Congratulations on working towards your Private Pilot's License! It is a true accomplishment, and pilots are an awesome, friendly community. I just attended the US Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) annual Airventure in Oshkosh, Wisconsin a few weeks ago. 10,000 airplanes fly in for this event, and 700,000 people attended. There were some pretty unique drones, as well. I put a short video (1 min 40 sec) of my experience there on Facebook. You should be able to find it by searching for my name, Eck Konkel.
I will take your words to heart! If the opportunity presents, I will make the journey.

WOW cool, sounds like it was pretty awesome there at Oshkosh from what you said! My instructor was away for a few weeks as I think he was at the same airshow as you were at! :) We have some cool airshows here in New Zealand, but nothing as big as the Oshkosh airshow! Will check you up on Facebook:) Have a good day!
