help with fc40 app for ipad

hi just got an ipad, trying to download app. every time I hit on the app. it turns off the ipad. please if anyone knows how to do this, help its driving me nuts LOL thanks

have u tried basic ipad troubleshooting, hold down button and close all apps, restart ipad, try again ?

no luck, don't mater what app I download, when I go to open it, it shuts down ipad. what am I doing wrong? darn apple. or just me being a caveman. im a 1961 model LOL
