So I took the plunge and updated my two apps (vision and assistant), and did all my firmware updates just like DJI suggested. Then did an advanced IMU re-calibration just to be on the safe side. Took it out today and everything worked. Checked out the dynamic home point feature and it too worked as advertised. In fact, I am really impressed with that feature. It will land on your head if you take a nap during the RTH so watch out!
You know, its just too bad that DJI doesn't do a better job of testing their stuff before releasing it. They could save a lot of bad press if they did. Thanks to all those that did try it immediately after the initial release because it saved a lot of headaches for the vast majority of other owners (myself included). If DJI was smart they would take down the names of these contributors and use them as beta testers all the time.
